Almaty to export electric buses to Germany and Spain

AKIPRESS.COM - Electric bus manufacturing plant in Almaty plans to export its products to Germany, Spain and members of the Eurasian Customs Union, LS reported with reference to a source in the administration of the city. The project cost 14 billion tenge and was launched last year.
The capacity of the plant is 100 electric buses a year. Creation of 1,300 jobs is expected.
To date, units of vehicle have been already commissioned. Foreign investors contributed more than $165 million for construction of the plants of Almaty.
A launch of a paper production plant is expected in Almaty by the end of 2019.
