KGS 12.6 bln allocated to repay Kyrgyzstan’s public debt

Bishkek, July 26, 2019 /Kabar/. As of 31 May 2019, Kyrgyzstan's public debt was USD 4 billion 453.86 million, Marlen Amandykov, the Director of the Central Treasury of the Finance Ministry told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
The external debt amounts to 84.9% ($3.783 billion), the internal debt -15.1% ($670.9 million).
"In January-June 2019, 12 billion 684.5 million soms was allocated from the national budget to repay the state debt obligations. Of these, 6 KGS billion 718 million was allocated for the external debt, KGS 5 billion 966.5 million for domestic debt," said Amandykov.
Currently, the fixed exchange rate of 1 US dollar is 69.72 soms.
