AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin signed a decree on prohibition of statesmen to purchase imported cars for two years, the press service of the KazAvtoProm said.
The government of Kazakhstan decided to seize imported goods while performing the state procurement to protect the domestic market of the country, the statement says.
The state procurement permits goods produced by Kazakh companies that have certificates of goods origin, the document says.
According to the decree, the document allows to purchase and rent cars only from local producers and with the mandatory requirements of a certificate origin.
The decision was taken by the Ministry of Industry and Insfrastructure Development of Kazakhstan.
According to the KazAvtoProm, a certificate origin makes the state procurement more transparent.
