Vietnamese defense officials visiting Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Mongolia, Brigadier-General Kh.Batbileg met with a delegation led by Lieutenant General Vu Chien Thang, Director of the Foreign Relations Department at the Ministry of National Defence of Socialist Republic of Vietnam, exchanging views on bilateral defense relations and cooperation, Montsame reports.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Kh.Batbileg said "The two countries have 65 years of traditional relations and it is my pleasure to meet you on the occasion of this historic anniversary. The defense sector occupies an important position in bilateral relations". He expressed his gratitude for giving Mongolian cadets an opportunity to get bachelor's degree at defense universities of Vietnam since 2014. "It is fully possible to further expand cooperation in military training, arms industry, UN peacekeeping operations, and military health care"
Mr. Vu Chien Thang noted, "I appreciate the efforts and results obtained in deepening mutual understanding and expanding various joint activities. We are always ready to expand our relations and cooperate in many more ways"
