Bishkek, July 30, 2019. /Kabar/. President of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov signed the Law "On Amendments to the Tax Code of the Kyrgyz Republic", his press service reported.
The Law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on 26 June 2019 and supplements the Tax Code with a new Article, according to which the supply of hemodialysis services by private medical organizations to persons with chronic renal failure in the terminal stage is a supply exempt from VAT.
According to the Health Ministry’s data, currently 1336 patients use hemodialysis services in 12 private medical organizations. Provision of a tax exemption for VAT payment will contribute to the renewal of the hemodialysis apparatus fleet, auxiliary equipment and advanced training of medical personnel in private medical organizations, as well as reduces the workload of public medical institutions in terms of providing such vital specialized medical care.
The Law comes into force after 15 days from the date of official publication.
