Mongolia, India discuss cooperation in disaster prevention sector

AKIPRESS.COM - Head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) of Mongolia, Major-General T.Badral met with Ambassador of India to Mongolia Mohinder Pratap Singh on July 30, Montsame news agency reports.
The sides shared views on cooperating in disaster prevention sector of the two countries and training officials.
The NEMA is working to establish a memorandum of cooperation with the National Disaster Management Authority of the Republic of India. Additionally, 20 NEMA officials were involved in English course in India with its Government scholarship in 2017-2018.
Major-General Badral expressed his hope that the Embassy of India would involve more officials in intermediate and advanced level courses in the future.
