$100 million to be spent for construction of tourist complex in Turkestan region

AKIPRESS.COM - More than $100 million is planned to be spent for implementation of the tourist project in Turkestan region of Kazakhstan, LS reports.
According to the regional department of tourism and foreign ties, the Kaskasu ski resort will be built in several phases.
To date, the state purchase for development of the design estimate documentation of engineering networks has been announced for 26 million tenge and a mountain infrastructure for 367 million tenge.
The department noted that 448 million tenge were allocated from regional budget for the works on engineering infrastructure.
45-110 thousand tourists might be attracted on the first phase of the project in a year, the department said. The launch of the first phase will create 400 jobs.
The resort will be consisted of two zones: upper and lower bases.
