Turkish TV series Endless Love banned for screening in Uzbekistan

AKIPRESS.COM - Screening of the Turkish TV series Kara Sevda (Endless Love) has been stopped in Uzbekistan since July 27. The TV series were already prohibited for screening by the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan in February 2018, centralasaian.org reports.
The move was explained with requests of religious audience.
The order to stop broadcasting of the TV series was made by Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov at the teleconference on July 30.
The 2015-2017 TV series Kara Sevda were directed by Hilal Saral and Ekin Pandir. It was shown in 28 countries of the world and was received the Emmy award as the best TV novel in 2017.
The TV series are among top popular series in Saudi Arabia.
