Bishkek, Aug.1, 2019. /Kabar/. The youth agenda will be the focus of attention of the IV International Exhibition Forum "Eurasian Week", to be held on Sep. 25-27 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). The creation of the Youth Council under the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) for regular interaction with associations of young diplomats of the ministries of foreign affairs of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states makes the topic particularly relevant.
"This year the EAEU marks the fifth anniversary of the signing of its Treaty. Our Union is a young regional association. We attach great importance to the preservation of intellectual resources of the EAEU and strengthening the role of young people in the Eurasian integration in connection with the formation of a knowledge society, where the main business process is not the production of goods, but the production of new knowledge," said Chairman of the Board of the EEC Tigran Sargsyan.
The EAEU School of Young Leader, aimed at strengthening the interaction of the youth of the Union's countries, raising the educational level of the young generation, searching for new opportunities for the implementation of youth initiatives, will be held within the youth track.
The School includes a business game for young leaders of the EAEU, which will allow them to prove themselves under the supervision of representatives of the EEC.
The Forum "Eurasian Week" is held for the fourth year in a row. The results of previous years showed that the Forum has established itself as the main business event and a platform for free exchange of views for representatives of the business community, government agencies and expert community of the EAEU and third countries.
For the first time the Forum was held in Oct. 2016 in Russia on the platform of the "Open Innovations" Moscow International Forum. The second time it was held in Aug. 2017 in Astana (Kazakhstan) on the EXPO site. In 2018, the Eurasian Week took place in Yerevan (Armenia) and attracted about 3,100 visitors representing business, government agencies and the expert community of the EAEU, Singapore, the European Union, South Korea, Chile, Vietnam, Egypt, Iran and other countries.
