Kyrgyzstan hopes for signing of border agreement with Uzbekistan in near future

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Muhamedkaliy Abilgaziyev expressed hope at the meeting with Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov the legal process of the Kyrgyz-Uzbek border delineation will be completed soon. "I would like to note the enormous changes happening between our countries during the last several years," PM Abilgaziyev stated.
He then noted work of the sides on delimitation and demarcation of the state borders. The bilateral dialogue on completion of delimitation of undefined border sections is in progress, the PM said.
"It is important to intensify work of the governmental commissions for delimitation and demarcation of the state border. Hopefully, the sides will be able to sign the respective agreement in near time," he said.
