Bishkek, Aug.2, 2019. /Kabar/. At the meeting of the Council on Relations with Compatriots abroad, Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov approved issues that should be addressed and resolved.
The event is taking place in the Ala-Archa state residence.
At the beginning of the event, the President focused on the main goals of the Council, in which representatives of Kyrgyz diasporas abroad, entrepreneurs, workers from such countries as Russia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Uzbekistan and other republics are participating.
"There is need to create an effective dialogue platform between state bodies and compatriots, to develop ways for the return of compatriots to the homeland, to involve them in the processes of development of the country, to develop mechanisms that provide such an opportunity, and to promote the transfer of advanced technologies, experience and knowledge," President Jeenbekov said.
He reminded the Council participants of the adoption of the National Development Strategy of the country until 2040.
"This strategy reflects the goals of economic development, poverty reduction and improvement of the standard of living of citizens. Special emphasis will be placed on human development. By 2040, Kyrgyzstan should become a state where the highest value will be given to the individual, his or her life, health, rights and freedoms. The success of our country will depend primarily on the quality of human resources. Only through the development of human resources and the introduction of high technologies, Kyrgyzstan will be able to maintain its competitiveness," the President concluded.
