GKNB: Alina Shaikova to be declared wanted if she fails to show up for interrogation

AKIPRESS.COM - Ex-Head of the State Registration Service Alina Shaikova will be declared wanted if she fails to show up for an interrogation before Aug 5, the National Security Committee said.
Shaikova is involved in a corruption probe related to illegal purchase of biometric passports.
Shaikova was sent several summons, GKNB said.
Alina Shaikova was a Head of the State Registration Service from February 2018 until April 2019.
CEO of Infocom Talant Abdullayev, Deputy Chairman of the State Registration Service Ruslanbek Sarybayev, and State-Secretary of the State Registration Service Daniyar Bakchiyev were detained on April 16, 2019 within the biometric passport probe. Anti-Corruption Service accuse the State Registration Service employees of lobbying of interests of Garsu Pasaulis LLC company in winning the tender.
