AKIPRESS.COM - Uzbekistan and Belarus have signed 11 agreements between the governments, ministries and companies, the president's press service said. President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko adopted the joint statement following the bilateral talks held in Minsk.
The signed 11 agreements are aimed to expand and enhance production, science and technology cooperation, interregional and investment ties, exchanges and cooperation in education, mass media, publishing, IT and other sectors.
During the briefing for media representatives, the President of Belarus said the highest bilateral trade level was achieved last year.
The deals for almost $300 million were signed at the Forum of Regions in Minsk in run up to the official visit of the President of Uzbekistan to Belarus.
