AKIPRESS.COM - Inflation risks keep growing in Kazakhstan, which might trigger another price surge this autumn, specialists of the Halyk Finance reported, LS said.
According to their research, price for food products might go up.
The analysts also noted that the National Bank will keep the basic rate at 9% now.
According to the research held by the central bank, a number of respondents expecting the price growth acceleration in the next 12 months increased by 24.3% in May. In June, this figure grew by 67.1% compared to the previous one.
Prices for goods and services in July 2019 went up by 5.4% than in July 2018. The report says that Kazakhstan is on a leading place among EAEU countries on rise of prices for food products.
Experts say inflation by the end of 2019 will remain at 4-6%.
