Major earthquake recorded in Almaty region

AKIPRESS.COM - Earthquake with 9.2 magnitude in the epicenter was registered in Almaty region on August 4 at 6:31 pm local time, the network of seismic stations reported. The quake was centered 258 km north-east of the city of Almaty on the territory of Kerbulak district of Almaty region.
No details were reported about tremors.
Two aftershocks occurred at 6:41 pm and 7:15 pm after the major earthquake.
