U.S. to hand over real estate bought by Mongols through offshore companies to Mongolia

AKIPRESS.COM - The U.S. Attorney General William Barr said that the American side in compliance with the UN laws on corruption will be assisting Mongolia in handover of movable and immovable properties in the U.S. bought for money from offshore accounts, media report.
This was discussed at the meeting with President of Mongolia Khaltmaagiin Battulga in Washington.
William Barr has been served as assistant to the U.S. Attorney General from 1990 to 1991, and the Attorey General from 1991 to 1993 in the George Bush Administration.
In December 2018, the U.S. President Donald Trump said that Barr has again been nominated to the post of the U.S. Attorney General. The Senate voted for him on February 14, 2019.
