AKIPRESS.COM - Electricity production in 2022 is forecast at 16.714 billion kWh or by 728.5 million kWh more than in 2020 based on average annual inflow of the Naryn River in the section of the Toktogul hydroscheme, according to the midterm forecast for social and economic development of Kyrgyzstan for 2020-2022.
Average annual supply of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning is expected to grow by 3.2% annually in 2020-2022.
The growth is also expected in food production by 6.3% in average, textile and clothing production by 6.8%, production of refined petroleum products by 4.5%, production of construction materials by 2.5%, production of pharmaceutical products by 9.5%.
