Kyrgyz national team wins medal at World Cadet Championships in Bulgaria

Bishkek, Aug.6, 2019. /Kabar/. The World Cadet Wrestling Championships in Bulgaria is over. The results were published on the website of the United Wrestling World (UWW).
The tournament, held in Sofia from July 29 to Aug.4, was attended by members of the national teams of the Kyrgyz Republic in Greco-Roman, freestyle and women's wrestling.
In the team rating, Kyrgyzstan was ranked 15th with 18 points, 17th (18 points) in Greco-Roman and 9th (44 points) in women's team rating.
Meanwhile, the only medal in these competitions was won by Kalmira Bilimbek kyzy,who became the second in the weight category up to 53 kg. In the decisive bout, she lost to Chinese representative with a score of 4:0.
Wrestlers Vladislav Nikandrov (45kg), Zhanbolot Turatbekov (60kg) and Nazik Mirlan kyzy (43kg), stopped in a step from the prize places, yielding to opponents in the fight for bronze awards.
