Rescuers probed for picking up cellphones when cargo plane crashed into village near Manas airport

AKIPRESS.COM - Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations picked up the cellphones at the site of plane crash in Dachi SU village near the Manas airport in 2017, the Pervomay district court said.
Probe into power abuse and obstructing an investigation was launched against those employees. 6 firefighters were imposed a travel ban on July 31, 2019, the court said.
The Ministry refrained from comments until the end of investigation.
Boeing-747 plane crashed into the village killing 39 people on 16 January 2017. The plane was carrying a cargo.
