Batken to host opening ceremony of new family practice center in fall

AKIPRESS.COM - The construction of new building of family practice center completed in Batken town, Turmush reports. According to the director of the center Arzybek Borubekov, the medical facility is planned to be commissioned in September. The construction works began in 2000, however due to the lack of the funds the works were suspended. In 2015, the state budget allocated 153 million soms for construction. This year the works were completed and the opening ceremony will be held on Sept 1.
"The construction of the hospital began in 2000. The old building was outdated. There will be an electronic record. The modern medical equipment will be installed in order to provide high-quality medical services and improve medical services for residents of Batken town. A training center for medical workers will also be opened there. All necessary conditions will be created," Borubekov said.
Currently, furniture and equipment are installed in the hospital. The new hospital will be able to accept over 250 people.
