Situation is Naryn Oblast is stable, there is no road closure: Government

Bishkek, Aug.7, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s First Deputy Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov, Governor of Naryn Oblast Amanbai Kayipov and representatives of other public services visited the Solton-Sary gold ore deposit to hear the arguments of local residents in favor of stopping the operations of the Chinese Zhong Ji Mining Company.
After bilateral talks, it was decided to suspend the company's activity for a month (until the end of the proceedings).
Governor Kayipov informed today the situation in the region is stable, there are no road closures. Public security is under the control of law enforcement agencies.
The gathered local residents said they will be in the village of Kara-Chiy of Naryn region until their requirements are met.
Note, that the local residents are in favour of cessation of operations of the Zhong Ji Mining Chinese Company at the Solton-Sary field in Naryn Oblast.
