Modern drone for tracking of saigas tested in Akmolin region

AKIPRESS.COM - A drone Supercam S350 has been tested for monitoring of saiga migration, the press service of the Caspian pipeline consortium reported. The testing was conducted in the village of Kabanbay of Akmolin region.
The drone was purchased by the consortium. It can fly for up to 4.5 hours.
Presentation of the drone was held with participation of Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources Magzum Mirzagaliyev.
The remote-piloted vehicle allows to make photo and video materials with a full information transmission at a distance of up to 90 km.
The consortium said it supports the activities of the Association for the Conservation of Biodiversity of Kazakhstan on maintaining the population of saigas within the framework of the joint program since 2016.
