Bishkek, Aug.7, 2019. /Kabar/. The opening ceremony of the Master of Artillery Fire competition took place at the training ground of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan today, which is attended by the best artillerymen from near and far abroad, the press service of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces said.
This year, the Master of Artillery Fire contest, held in the framework of the Army International Games-2019, will last until Aug. 15. Teams from 12 countries take part in it: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Venezuela, Zimbabwe, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Syria, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
Kyrgyzstan’s Armed Forces are represented by a team of 21 Army artillerymen - 3 teams and a coaching group, who left for the venue on July 31.
According to the results of the draw, which took place on Aug. 1, the Kyrgyz mortar squads entered the starting line Aug. 7, along with the teams of Venezuela, Tajikistan and Syria.
