Security Council meeting takes place without media

A meeting of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic chaired by the President Sooronbai Jeenbekov is held in Bishkek. Presidential press service reported.
Agenda of the meeting, which takes place without participation of the media, includes issue on ensuring security and the rule of law in connection with the current situation on August 7, 2019.
Recall, yesterday, the security forces tried to conduct a special operation on detention of Almazbek Atambayev in Koi-Tash, but it failed. Criminal proceedings were instituted after clashes.
