Soldier killed during storming in Koi-Tash was deputy chief of special service of GKNB

AKIPRESS.COM - Usenbek Niyazbekov, who died on August 7 during the storming in Koi-Tash, was Deputy Chief of the Special Service of the National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan, GKNB press service reported. Niyazbekov was born in 1972 in the village of Bel-Uryuk, Nookat district, Osh region. He graduated from the Osh Technological University.
In 2000, he began his military service as a junior criminal investigator in the city of Osh.
In February 2019, he was appointed as deputy chief of the special service of the GKNB.
Niyazbekov was awarded with Erdik badge and other awards. He was married and had 4 children.
This September, he was supposed to become colonel of the national security bodies.
