Employees building bridge in Nur-Sultan announce hunger strike

AKIPRESS.COM - Construction of the bridge near the Nurly Zhol bus station connecting with the airport has been suspended in Nur-Sultan due to the hunger strike of the workers, Astan reports. Some 26 people did not come to work on August 8 announcing hunger stricke demanding to give them salaries.
The employees have not received their salaries for 9 months - from November 2018. They have been lived in adormitory, where it was very cold in winter.
Now the protesting workers are not going to stay their and claim to leave home as soon as they get their salaries.
Head of the contracting company promises to pay money in the nearest future. According to him, salaries were delayed due to the poor work of the employees.
