Cumulative GDP of EAEU countries exceeds $420 billion – Medvedev

AKIPRESS.COM - The cumulative GDP of the EAEU countries in 2018 increased by 2.5% amounting to more than $420 billion, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said today at the session of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council in Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, there are more than 180 million consumers on the market of the EAEU. In this regard, there should be no obstacles for their negotiations, he noted.
Everyone's position is similar here, he said.
"Perhaps, there is a difference in approaches, how to reach this condition, but in general, of course, they are all speak for creation of the economic platform, which occupies almost 20 cubic km. This is very effective figure, which we should not forget," Medvedev noted.
The economic figures of activities of the EAEU countries are not bad, he added.
