President Jeenbekov congratulates Kyrgyzstanis on Kurman Ait holiday

Bishkek, Aug.11, 2019. /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov today, Aug.11 congratulated Kyrgyzstanis on Kurman Ait holiday.
Dosaly Esenaliyev, the Head of the President’s Office of Kyrgyzstan read the President’s congratulations at the Ait Namaz, held in the Old Square in Bishkek.
In his congratulations President Jeenbekov said no holiday in the world brings together good thoughts, pure thoughts and cherished dreams of so many people.
Therefore, Kurman Ait is a great holiday calling for universal friendship and unity of the people, peace and harmony.
He also wished good health, happiness, joy, well-being and prosperity to every family.
"May God receive today's donations and all our dreams and desires come true.
I am sure that the celebration of Kurman Ait will contribute to the strengthening of harmony in our society, spiritual purification of people and inspire the Kyrgyz people to new achievements for the benefit of our beloved country," President Soornobay Jeenbekov said.
One of the most significant Muslim holidays Kurman Ait falls on the 70th day after the end of fasting. According to the lunar calendar, calculus changes annually with a difference of approximately 10 days. In Arabic, the name of the holiday means "Feast of Sacrifice". On this day, Muslims sacrifice one of the animals: a sheep, a cow, a ram or a camel, set the table and go to visit each other.
