Interior Ministry denies summoning ex-top security official Segizbayev for interrogation

AKIPRESS.COM - The Interior Ministry denied summoning ex-Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan Abdil Segizbayev for interrogation.
Segizbayev was not summoned and was not detained, the statement said.
Segizbayev was seen in Koi-Tash during the storming of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev's home to detain him on August 7. He was injured and hospitalized, then he was seen taken out of the hospital on car.
He served as Chairman of the National Security Committee of Kyrgyzstan from November 2015 until April 2018.
