Kokand inscribed into list of World Craft Cities

AKIPRESS.COM - In run up to the First International Handicrafters Festival Kokand has been included into the list of World Craft Cities, CA-News reports. The list of World Craft Cities exists since 2014. It includes 30 cities of the world.
Uzbekistan's Khunarmand Association has become member of the World Cradt Council since March 2019.
The First International Handicrafters Festival will be held in Kokand from September 10-15, 2019. This International Handicrafters Festival will gather more than 600 artisans who will come from more than 70 countries and more than 120 representatives of various Handicraft Organizations. The festival also includes scientific-practical conference. The conference is dedicated to develop and prospect to handcraftsmanship.
