Strong earthquake jolts south of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Aug.13, 2019. /Kabar/. An earthquake measuring 6 struck southern Kyrgyzstan at 23:14 on Aug. 12.
According to the data of Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic, the epicenter of the earthquake is located on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, 21 km N-E of Uzgen town, 25 km S-E of Kök-Janggak town, 40 km E of Jalal-Abad town, 70 km N-E of Osh city.
In the settlements of the Kyrgyz Republic the intensity of the earthquake was 3-6 points.
