6-magnitude earthquake jolts south of Kyrgyzstan

AKIPRESS.COM - 6-magnitude earthquake occurred in Kyrgyzstan on August 12 at 23:14, the Institute of Seismology said.
The epicenter was located 21 km northeast of Uzgen, 25 km southeast of Kok-Jangak, 40 km east of Jalal-Abad, 70 km northeast of Osh city.
The villages near the epicenter felt the quakes at magnitude 6.
Uzgen town felt at magnitude 5, Jalal-Abad town - magnitude 4, Osh city - magnitude 3.
Earthquake was also felt in Bishkek city and Chuy region.
