AKIPRESS.COM - GDP growth in Kazakhstan speeded up by 4.2% as a result of the last 7 months of 2019, Sputnik Kazakhstan reported. The growth is due to the increase in industrial, construction and service spheres and the sustainable pace in agriculture and investments in the main capital, Minister of the National Economy Ruslan Dalenov told a government session.
"Inflation rate amounted to 5.4%. The dynamics of investments gets ahead of the speed of the GDP growth. Growth made 11.3%," he said.
Investments increased in agriculturew (by 61.4%), construction (46.3%), trade (23%) and industry (18.9%), he noted.
Industrial production in January-July grew by 2.7%.
According to the Minister, oil production has fallen up to 1.3%, coal production - up to 2.7%.
