Kyrgyzstan’s medals at Chess Tournament in South Korea

Bishkek, Aug.13, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz athletes won 3 medals at the World Youth Mind Sports Fair in South Korea, the press service of the Chess Federation of Kyrgyzstan reported.
The tournament was held in Pyeongchang, where Open Tournament - 6 rounds with time control of 15 minutes (G18, G23, U23) and Master Tournament - 6 rounds with time control of 15 minutes +15 seconds (G23, U23) took place.
Tagir Taalaibekov and Zarina Usupbekova from Kyrgyzstan distinguished themselves in Open Tournament, they have silver awards. In the other category Usupbekova also took the second place.
