Uzbek, Russian PMs meet in Ashgabat

AKIPRESS.COM - Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulla Aripov met with Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev on the sidelines of the first Caspian Economic Forum in Ashgabat, the Russian government said.
Aripov hoped that recently introduced by Russian government new VAT indicator for import of agricultural products would be widely used by Uzbek producers of farm produce to export their goods to Russian markets.
Trade turnover between Uzbekistan and Russia in the first 7 months of 2019 increased by 15% year on year and is expected to exceed $6 billion by year end.
