Number of HIV infected increasing in West Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - Four oil workers with HIV were recorded in Atyrau gold mining, Astana TV channel reports citing doctors of the AIDS Center. A number of HIV infected people is growing in West Kazakhstan. 36,000 Kazakhstanis were infected with HIV across the country, the report says.
Approximately 40 people are infected with HIV in a year, the Center says.
Most of them are infected through sex. To date, more than 700 HIV infected are registered in the region. Among the last registered are employees of the Atyrau gold miners.
