Transport Ministry plans to lay 408 km of asphalt-concrete surfacing in 2019

Bishkek, Aug.14, 2019. /Kabar/. In 2019, the Ministry of Transport and Roads of the Kyrgyz Republic plans to lay 408 km of asphalt-concrete surfacing, Deputy Transport Minister Bakyt Berdaliyev said at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
He noted that 308 km will be covered at the expense of the national budget, 100 km - on investment projects.
"As of today, 173.7 km of roads have been completed at the expense of the national budget, and about 50 km - at the expense of investment projects. There are also other types of works, in particular, it is planned to carry out 183 thousand square meters, 132 thousand square meters have been completed," he said.
Berdaliyev informed that the Ministry of Transport has 18,800 km of roads on its balance, which are under construction.
