Suspect of shooting at SWAT soldier during storming of Atambayev's house detained

AKIPRESS.COM - A suspect of shooting at lieutenant-colonel of Alfa special service of the National Security Committee Usenbek Niyazbekov has been detained, attorney of the victim's side told AKIpress on August 14. "We are reported that a young man suspected of shooting at Niyazbekov has been detained," he said.
Niyazbekov died of received injuries on August 7 in Koi-Tash.
Aug 7-8 saw storming of ex-President Almazbek Atambayev's home in Koi-Tash and his detention. The first storming by SWAT soldiers on August 7 left dozens injured and 1 law enforcement officer dead. On August 8, Atambayev surrendered and charged with serious crimes, including murder, hostage-taking and corruption.
