Bishkek, Aug.14, 2019. /Kabar/. During his working visit to Batken Oblast, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jenish Razakov met in Kok-Tash village with residents of Aksai, Samarkandek and Aktatyr counties.
The meeting was attended by about 150 people, the press service of the Government reported.
The residents raised issues, related to the delimitation and demarcation of the state border, construction of social and infrastructure facilities, drinking and irrigation water supply, land transformation.
Razakov presented information to the population on the work of the Government on the development of border areas.
"The Government considers the development of border areas as priority, as well as the resolution of existing issues. The most important thing is to ensure security, public order and the resolution of social and infrastructural issues," he said.
Note that the action plan for the implementation of the second phase of the State Program for Security and Social and Economic Development of Individual Border Territories of the Kyrgyz Republic, which has a special status, includes 33 activities for a total of KGS 296 million 250 thousand for 2018-2020.
