Bishkek, Aug.15, 2019 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev familiarized with the activities of the Vertex Gold Company, engaging in mining, during his working trip to Jalal-Abad Oblast.
Vertex Gold Company has been developing the Dzhamgyr gold deposit in the Chatkal region, Jalal-Abad Oblast since 2011.
The prime minister was informed about the plans to build a gold-processing plant with a capacity of 300,000 tons of ore.
Currently, the company employs more than 500 people, including residents of Chatkal region.
Nikolay Yermoshkin, General Director of the company, said laboratory tests of ore have already been carried out and technological regulations have been developed. In addition to the plant, a shift camp, administrative and household complex and other facilities will be built.
It was stressed that the tailings ponds will be built in accordance with advanced technologies using dry storage for safety and security.
PM Abylgaziev noted the importance of full implementation of all production plans of the company at the Dzhamgyr field.
"We are implementing a policy of regional development, and in this work priority is given to remote areas with industrial potential. Of course, we pay special attention to compliance with all environmental requirements. The Government always keeps this issue under special control and requires strict compliance with safety standards," he said.
Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev instructed the heads of the relevant state bodies to provide the necessary assistance to investors while ensuring control over the compliance with all security requirements.
