Bishkek, Aug.15, 2019. /Kabar/. Dancers from Kyrgyzstan successfully performed at the Wheelchair Ballroom Dance Championship in Finland. The prize-winners told about it at the press conference at Kabar agency.
Two girls who managed to outperform the leading athletes were honored to represent Kyrgyzstan at such a large and important event.
In total, teams from 14 countries took part in the competition.
Silver medalist of the tournament Ainura Teleusheva said she serves as the chairman of the Love-Life public foundation, which was founded in 2017. The idea was to involve people with disabilities in culture and art. "In Finland, we performed in the Freestyle Solo category. I took second place," she said.
The chairman of the board of the Nazik Kyz public association Ukei Murataliyeva, who also connected her life with sports, said after the championship in Finland, she began to look at the dance in a different way; the goal was to conquer new horizons, one of which is a trip to the Olympics.
Choreographer Adilet Toktogaziyev admits that he was surprised by the strength of the girls' spirit, their persistence and desire to create.
In conclusion, he called on the Government and businessmen to help the athletes, as the Continental Cup licensed competitions in St. Petersburg are near at hand. Financial assistance is needed to participate in it, and what is important - moral support.
