Jeenbekov: Promotion of goods to foreign markets is collective task of state bodies and business

Bishkek, Aug.15, 2019. /Kabar/. "Promotion of domestic goods to foreign markets is a collective task of state bodies and business," Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov said today visiting the Bishkek Free Economic Zone and getting acquainted with the activities of a number of export oriented domestic enterprises.
President Jeenbekov inspected the production process and products, talked to the employees of the Bishkek Free Economic Zone and listened to the problems of their leadership, his press service reported.
Salkyn LLC hosiery production enterprise head informed that the volume of investments in this enterprise exceeded KGS 20 million. Most of the products go to the markets of Kazakhstan and Russia. Over 200 people are employed.
The President also familiarized with the activities of Peyvand Ltd. engaged in the production of glue, paint, building materials and diapers. There are 18 people working here, the products are exported to the countries of near and far abroad - Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan.
Further, Jeenbekov visited the Korona Ltd. enterprise, which produces products, materials and pipes necessary for the construction of infrastructure to provide clean water to rural residents. The company employs 15 people. In the first half of 2019, it manufactured products worth KGS 11 million.
During the conversation with the businessmen, Jeenbekov once again attached importance to the preservation of favorable conditions for attracting investments, modern technologies and creation of new jobs.
He also stressed the need to increase export-oriented enterprises, develop production, create modern transport, industrial and social infrastructure, which will eventually improve the living standards of the population.
Appropriate recommendations will be given to the state bodies on all voiced problematic issues of entrepreneurs.
Advisor to the President Oleg Pankratov, Minister of Economy Sanzhar Mukanbetov and Chairman of the Board of the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund Erkin Asrandiyev took part in the visit.
