Bishkek, Aug. 16, 2019. / Kabar /. Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jenish Razakov met with representatives of the European Union's Rule of Law in the Kyrgyz Republic Program Phase 2, Dmitry Nurumov and Saule Aripova.
During the meeting, the issues of further cooperation on improving the automated information system "The Unified Register of Crimes and Misconducts" were discussed, the Kyrgyz government’s press service reported.
In addition, the issues of cooperation between the European Union project and the state-owned enterprise Ukuk under the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic were discussed.
The sides noted the importance of the high-quality implementation of the judicial reform in the Kyrgyz Republic, including with regard to the implementation of information technologies in the activities of law enforcement agencies.
Recall that Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev previously signed a decree of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic "On issues of organizing and managing state-owned enterprises of the Kyrgyz Republic in the field of digitalization" dated July 4, 2019 No. 340.
The state-owned enterprise Ukuk is responsible for the development and maintenance of information systems for judicial, law enforcement agencies, the Jogorku Kenesh and local keneshes, authorities in charge of defense issues, emergency situations, the penal system, border control, fire and radiation safety, as well as prosecutors, migration.
