Kyrgyzstanis win 9 medals at track and field tournament in Uzbekistan

Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2019 / Kabar /. Athletes from Kyrgyzstan won 9 medals at the international athletics tournament in Uzbekistan, the Federation of this sport of the Republic of Uzbekistan reported.
Competitions were held on Aug. 17-18 in Tashkent.
Thus, Ainuska Kalil Kyzy won two silver medals; she competed in the 1,500 and 800 meters. Samat Kazakbaev was also awarded with silver in two distances - at 1,500 and 5,000 meters. Daniyar Arypbekov took the second place (3000 m with obstacles). Erkin Sherov (200 m) and Mikhail Soloshenko (1,500 m) were in the top three and won bronze medals for the country. In the 4 × 100 and 4 × 400 relay races, the domestic team became the third among men, among winners Vlad Politi, Myktybek Abdurasul, Timur Isakov and Erkin Sherov.
