Unemployment decreases by 1,000 people in Kazakhstan

AKIPRESS.COM - The unemployment rate in Kazakhstan as a result of the second quarter of this year has decreased from 442.8 thousand to 441.8 thousand people, according to experts of the labor resource development center after having analyzed the statistics committee data, Vlast.kz reports.
The highest unemployment rate was registered in the southern regions of the country due to the big number of population, they said.
Unemployment rate in Almaty amounted to 50.3 thousand people, in Almaty region - 48 thousand, in Turkestan region - 42.1 thousand. The negative dynamics of unemployment growth was observed in Mangistau region compared with the same period of last year - 12.7%, Atyrau region - 6.5%, Nur-Sultan city - 5.7%, the report says.
Among age categories the most number of unemployed citizens are at the age of 25-34 (38.5%), the least - 65 and older - 0.6%.
Most of unemployed have secondary vocational education (41.4%) or higher education (33%).
