Nazarbayev to partake in session of political council of Nur-Otan party

AKIPRESS.COM - The first President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev will take part in the extended session of the political council of the Nur-Otan party, Sputnik Kazakhstan reports.
The session will bring together members of the government, factions of the party in Mazhilis, as well as heads of regions.
Nazarbayev on August 16 participated in the meeting of the bureau of political council Nur-Otan, where President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part as well.
Then Nazarbayev called on to start preparing the party for election in the Parliament, which will be held in the constitutional term.
The political council of Nur-Otan will determine the main directions of activities of the party members on execution of decisions of the faction convention. There are 100 members of the political party council. Except for President Tokayev, it is composed of speakers of two chambers of the Parliament Dariga Nazarbayeva and Nurlan Nigmatulin, Prime Minister Askar Mamin, state secretary Marat Tazhin and others.
