Topiaries set up in Issyk-Oblast’s Karakol city

Bishkek, Aug.21, 2019. /Kabar/. In the city of Karakol the municipal services have installed topiaries.
The press service of the Zelenstroy reported that tall figures of bears and giraffes are located in front of the Akhunbayev Medical College.
"We've been preparing a surprise for residents and guests for several months and today it's completely ready," they write on social networks.
Topiary is the horticultural practice of training perennial plants by clipping the foliage and twigs of trees, shrubs and subshrubs to develop and maintain clearly defined shapes, whether geometric or fanciful.
The plants used in topiary are evergreen, mostly woody, have small leaves or needles, produce dense foliage, and have compact and/or columnar (e.g., fastigiate) growth habits
