Bishkek, Aug.22, 2019. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Foreign Minister Chingiz Aidarbekov participated in the meeting of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev with Central Asian foreign ministers, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
The Kazakh leader congratulated Foreign Ministers of the Central Asian countries on the successful completion of the regular meeting in the C5+1 format, which serves as an effective mechanism for strengthening regional cooperation and relations with the United States.
Tokayev emphasized the importance of further development of integration processes in Central Asia, expansion of trade, investment, transport, cultural and humanitarian ties in the region.
He also noted the importance of implementing agreements, reached during the first Consultative meeting of heads of Central Asian states, held in March 2018.
Speaking about bilateral relations with Central Asian countries, including the Kyrgyz Republic, Tokayev expressed confidence that his upcoming visit to Kyrgyzstan would be successful.
The Kazakh President also conveyed a warm greeting to his Kyrgyz counterpart Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
