Batukayev’s case: List of suspects who plea bargained and released under home arrest

AKIPRESS.COM - The Prosecutor General's Office launched a pre-trial investigation into illegal release of crime boss Aziz Batukayev from prison on April 23, 2019.
The investigation was entrusted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As part of the investigation, corruption and forgery charges were brought against 19 people.
Out of them 9 decided to cooperate with the investigation and were released under home arrest:
- ex-Prosecutor General Indira Joldubayeva (released on August 22);
- attorney Ali Kasymov (detained on July 21, released on August 19);
- doctors of the Hematology Center Emil Makimbetov and Irina Tsopova (detained on May 6, released on August 15);
- ex-Prosecutor General Aida Salyanova (detained ion June 3, released on August 15);
- former head of the State Service for the Execution of Punishments Zarylbek Rysaliyev (charged on July, released August 2);
- doctor Emil Makimbetov (detained on May 6, released on June 26);
- ex-Vice Prime Minister Shamil Atakhanov (detained on May 21, released on June 7);
- former deputy prosecutor of Naryn region Mairambek Akmataliyev (detained on May 28, released on May 29);
-ex-Minister of Health Dinara Saginbayeva (detained on May 12, released on May 22).
