August Pedagogical Conference kicks off in Issyk-Kul

Cholpon-Ata, Aug.23, 2019. /Kabar/. The August Pedagogical Conference with the participation of Kyrgyz Prime Minister Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev has started in Issyk-Kul.
Opening the event, the prime minister said such meetings are held in almost every country, where topical issues and problems to be solved are discussed.
"Education is a special sphere and the future of our state, which will become a strategic point of growth of our country in the 21st century," the prime minister said. - Today, when modern civilization has entered a new stage of its development, humanity faces serious challenges such as ecology, food security, poverty and unemployment.
The illiteracy of people is becoming a major problem, as more than 800 million people on the planet are illiterate. In such difficult conditions, the main task is to create a competitive education system: investment, innovation, solving social problems, wages and housing."
He noted that the first task of the government at the moment is to raise the prestige of the teacher and create material and technical base.
